    Jorge Bolado

    Has been a university and film school professor for 24 years. His most salient teaching work includes eleven years at Universidad Iberoamericana and his work as Dean of the Documentary Faculty at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV at San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. He has published extensively in periodicals ranging from Mexico City daily La Prensa to Vogue.

    Bolado has worked as an on-air personality at Televisa and Televisión de Tlaxcala, among other broadcasters, and has additionally worked in cinema/television production, photography, editing and sound engineering. His feature film, Segundo siglo, was shown in 2002 in Mexico and at international festivals such as those at Edinburgh, Havana, Toulouse, Los Angeles and San Francisco, among others. He produced the feature Partes usadas—which received a number of international prizes—in 2007.
