Studied Informational Design at the Instituto Superior de Diseño in Havana and completed a Master’s Degree in Information Technologies Engineering at the Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico.
He currently oversees his own laboratory where he researches and develops ideas that combine art, design, and technology—as well as their impact on culture in general.
His work has been shown at the Greusslich Contemporary, Berlin; the Palazzo delle Arti Napoli, Naples; the NTU School of Art, Design and Media, Singapore; the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and the Laboratorio de Arte Alameda, Mexico City; among others.
He is a recipient of the Prix Ars Electronica | Interactive Art prize (Linz, Austria, 2012) and the CINTAS Foundation Award in Visual Arts (Miami-New York, 2011-2012), among other recognitions.
