    Guidelines for Fulfilling Social Service Obligations at Institutions with Which a Reciprocal Agreement Has Been Established

    1. Identify and learn about the institutions with which a reciprocal agreement exists (download here). If download fails, request the list at aramirez@centro.edu.mx

    2. Once you have chosen the institution where you want to perform your social service, please notify the Registrar’s Office and request an academic transcript, to be presented at the proposed institution.

    3. Request a letter of acceptance from the head of the social services institution (or appropriate representative) which you should submit to the CENTRO Registrar’s Office within a period of no more than ten business days following the issuance of the academic transcript (download acceptance letter requirements here).

    4. The Registrar’s Office will register your social service agreement and inform Academic Affairs so that appropriate follow-up can be realized.

    5. Once your social service commitment hours have been fulfilled, you should request a letter of completion from the appropriate institution, which you must be submit to the CENTRO Registrar’s Office.

    6. The Registrar’s Office will e-mail materials you will need in order to prepare a report on the social service activities you completed.




    Guidelines for Fulfilling Social Service Obligations at Institutions with Which a Reciprocal Agreement Has NOT Been Established


    1. Verify that the institution where you seek to fulfill your social services obligation is a non-profit organization (category A.C. and S.C. corporations; NGOs; or government agencies).

    2. E-mail social services coordinator or other appropriate institutional representative contact information to aramirez@centro.edu.mx in order to establish lines of communication.

    3. The Registrar’s Office must approve the activities program you will carry out at the selected institution.

    4. Provided all guidelines have been met, a reciprocal agreement will be signed between CENTRO and the institution.

    5. Once the agreement has been signed, you should request an academic transcript from the Registrar’s Office, which you will submit to the social services institution.

    6. Request that the social services coordinator or other appropriate institutional representative provide you with an acceptance letter which you should submit to the CENTRO Registrar’s Office within a period of no more than ten business days following the issuance of the academic transcript (download acceptance letter requirements here).
