1. What Does the Admissions Process Involve?
Its purpose is to get to know us better and to know to what extent CENTRO meets your learning expectations. Estas son las experiencias del proceso:
- Session to assess your general knowledge and the specific knowledge required for the bachelor's degree program to which you are applying
- Creative and communication skills session
- Psycho-educational assessment
- Interview session with the degree program administration
A few days after completing the entire process, you will receive a letter stating whether you have been accepted or rejected. If you are accepted, continue the enrollment process with the help of your CENTRO advisor.
If you are not accepted, you can try again in a year.
2. How do I go through the admissions process?

3. Will I receive the results of my admissions process?
We only provide a letter stating whether you have been accepted or rejected. The decision is confidential and final.
The admissions process evaluates the applicant’s abilities and skills by taking into account all sessions and the interview with the academic administration, considered collectively.

4. If I am not accepted, can I reapply to CENTRO for the same program or a different one?
Applicants who are not accepted have a second chance and may reapply one year after their first attempt. You may apply for a different bachelor’s degree program than the one you applied for the first time.
5. Can I sit in on a class?
Twice a year, we hold CENTRO Day, an open house event where you can experience what it’s like to study at our institution. On that day, you can attend workshops for each degree program and meet faculty, students, and the program directors. It is not possible to sit in on our regular classes as an auditor.
6. Can I enroll before I finish high school?
To begin the admissions process, you must be in your senior year of high school or have already graduated. Once you’ve been accepted, you can complete your enrollment by submitting the required documentation and paying your first tuition installment. Please note that your enrollment will be fully finalized once you graduate from high school and submit your high school diploma or proof that your diploma is in process (issued within the last three months).
7. What is the admission process for international students?
Students from many countries study at CENTRO. To make the admission process easier for you, you can complete it online, and the interview with the program director can be conducted via videoconference.

8. What is the process for having credits from another university recognized?
Credential recognition is the administrative process through which the SEP (Secretariat of Public Education) grants official recognition to academic credentials earned outside the national education system, provided they are equivalent to those earned within that system.
To enroll at CENTRO, you simply need to present a certificate or officially valid document confirming that your recognition application has been accepted by the SEP.

9. Where is the campus located?
We have a single campus located at Avenida Constituyentes 455, Colonia América, in Mexico City. Our campus has LEED Platinum certification, the highest rating awarded to sustainable buildings. CENTRO was the first institution of higher education to achieve this recognition. We are deeply committed to the environment.
10. Do you offer scholarships?
We have an extensive scholarship program:
- CENTRO Scholarship | You can apply for it once you have received your acceptance letter. To apply, you must have a GPA of 8.5. The scholarship amount is determined based on the results of a socioeconomic assessment.
- Zona Scholarship | Recipients are applicants who can demonstrate that they reside permanently in the area near CENTRO in Colonia América and have a GPA higher than 8.5.
- Sibling Benefit | For current CENTRO students or graduates:
First sibling: 15%
Second sibling: 20%
Third sibling: 25% - Excellence Scholarship: You can apply for this scholarship at the end of the second semester with an average of 9.5 or higher.
There are benefits available to the family members of CENTRO employees.
*The scholarship percentage is determined by the CENTRO Scholarship Committee based on your GPA and the results of the socioeconomic assessment.

CENTRO has a partnership with Laudex to offer flexible educational financing at a low interest rate that you can combine with your scholarship.

12. Do you have exchange programs with other universities?
Yes. You can spend one or two semesters studying abroad at another university.
The exchange must be approved by your undergraduate department, which will also approve the courses you will take abroad, according to your study plan.

Once you have been accepted to CENTRO, your acceptance letter is valid for the academic term you applied for and the following one, provided that you notify us of your decision to defer enrollment at least 15 days before the start of the semester.
14. What is the "Soy CENTRO" Workshop?
The Soy CENTRO Workshop is mandatory and takes place the first week of the beginning of the degree program. You must complete it in its entirety because it is part of the content of the first semester, it is not an independent course.

15. What are the class schedules?
Classes are held both in the morning and in the afternoon, and the schedule varies widely because all of our instructors are active professionals in the creative industries. This is one of the cornerstones of CENTRO and ensures that you receive in-depth, up-to-date training in each discipline.
16. Can I change my major?
You can request a change of program during the first week of classes, after the “Soy CENTRO” Workshop, subject to approval by the administration of the new degree program. After that week, you’ll have to wait until the end of the semester to request the change.
