The Master in Contemporary Art, Markets and Business is the first postgraduate program in Latin America focused on training professionals capable of transforming the art and design industry. It is a bilingual program developed in partnership between CENTRO and Sotheby’s Institute of Art, a global leader in the art market. The master’s degree prepares students to understand and actively participate in the art ecosystem, addressing the functioning of fairs, museums, galleries, auction houses, biennials, collections, digital platforms and cultural foundations.

Curriculum

Who is it aimed at?

  • Professionals in art, economics, cultural management, communication or related areas. Interest in the management and commercialization of contemporary art. Must have experience in cultural markets and creative economy.

What will you be able to work on?

  • Graduates will be able to manage artistic projects, developing marketing and dissemination strategies.
  • They will have the ability to analyze contemporary art trends, their movements and impact on the market.
  • They will develop competencies in the management of collections, galleries and cultural events.
  • They will be able to work as contemporary art curators, art gallery directors, cultural project managers or art market consultants.
Partner of OMR Gallery. She has collaborated with the MUAC and the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil. She holds a Master’s degree in Art Studies from the Universidad Iberoamericana, and a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Sciences from the European University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder), Germany.
