The Specialty in Contemporary Jewelry Design addresses jewelry as an author’s language and form of artistic expression. With a focus on experimentation and innovation, non-traditional metals and materials are explored, as well as methodologies that integrate manual work with digital tools and advanced manufacturing processes. The program combines creative development with business, branding and communication tools, allowing students to design and produce original pieces, as well as manage their own brand.
- Creation of author’s collections, which take an idea from conceptualization to the final piece.
- Technical and material mastery, integrating traditional processes with digital tools.
- Interdisciplinary training, linking jewelry with fashion, art and design, broadening the student’s creative scope.
- Strategic approach, with marketing, communication, branding and cost management tools to promote own projects.
- International projection, with participation in competitions, fairs and jewelry weeks that connect the program with the global scene.
